Centralian

Morelia Bredli

Description

Found in and around the Macdonnell ranges of the Northern Territory, in the centre of Australia. Centralian Pythons are placid and reluctant to bite. They quickly grow to seven feet or more and are generally more heavy bodied than other Morelia. They have a reddish background with yellow to cream bands that are edged with black, more so towards the rear of the body.

History

I have been keeping this species since 1999 and was lucky enough to breed them for the first time in 2002, hatching 33 babies from 32 eggs!
